Vanish is a water soluble thread for machine and hand basting, trapunto, quilting, applique, heirloom, and numerous other uses. Vanish-Lite available on spools store Vanish is a resealable bag in a dry place.

Vanish-Lite is recommended as a top thread and/or bobbin thread for home machine use (#80/12 needle). It also works well as a bobbin thread for longarm machines.

Home machines, use Vanish-Lite on the top and Vanish-Lite in the bobbin.
