Heirloom cotton was created at the request of Harriet Hargrave to meet the needs of quilters. It is the only unbleached cotton wadding that is easy to quilt by hand or machine and can be quilted up to 4" apart. Shrinkage is between 3-5%. Very clean cotton mixed with 20% polyester, lightly needlepunched and resinated. The result is a dream batting for the quilter. There are no limitations for this product and it has far more loft than the typical cotton wadding which gives more definition to the stitch than normal. Recommended by Lynne Edwards.
